Overview

CAST-tilt SW is a pre-engineered, highly insulated, concrete panel technology, designed to improve project schedules and deliver exceptional energy efficiency for the entire life of the building. It is used in both structural and non-structural applications. The technology was developed to compete with traditional insulated concrete forms (ICF), wood framed, masonry, and steel building systems. Our technology provides an insulating barrier only dreamed of by our predecessors. Our R-values are unmatched by all EPS sandwich and non-sandwich panel wall systems presently on the market and yet retains strength and durability required for a safe concrete structure. The structural strength of our CAST-tilt SW concrete wall panel will support tremendous loads and give greater resistance to natural disasters.

Faster Construction

CAST-tilt SW technology delivers. The technology integrates studs, insulation, and concrete into a single panel casting. No more coming back to frame and insulating the wall. It's ready for utilities and sheetrock after the walls are "tilted" into place. The technology requires less concrete, less steel, and less labor.

Solid EPS insulation develops higher insulation values, eliminates air infiltration, does not shrink over time, and is insect resistant. CAST-tilt SW technology goes the extra mile by eliminating nearly all thermal bridging associated with conventional construction methods of steel, masonry, and wood-framed construction.

CAST-tilt SW R-values range from R-20 to R-33. Our technology allows us to increase these values to your climatic requirements. Panel system is priced accordingly.

Versatile

CAST-tilt SW technology combined with tilt-up methodology expands the creative boundaries of the architect. The panel's concrete surface can be installed inside, outside, horizontal, vertical, above grade, and below grade. It's easy to build a 1-inch air gap between sheetrock and insulation. Finishes can be stucco, stamped concrete, painted, stone, brick, plywood, sheetrock, or metal. The panel functions for structural or non-structural, single or multi-story, pre-stressed or rebar, on-site or off-site fabrication, casting on firm soil or concrete, used for decks, floors, walls, roofs, and more.

Our single wythe panels have a concrete surface on one side only. This surface can be installed facing either the inside or outside of the building. The other side of the panel is a surface of rigid EPS foam which may have integrated metal studs that serve as an attachment mechanism for drywall, plywood, stone veneer, siding, etc. Stucco finishes can be applied directly to the foam without the need for studs. This reduces the overall panel cost. The lower cost, single wythe design can optionally be installed with the concrete surface facing the inside of the building to enhance the thermal efficiency, esthetics, or durability of the building's interior. The insulated concrete surface improves the comfort of a room through its natural energy storing capability. All utilities are installed inside the panel, similar to a wood-framed wall.

Sound Transfer

Concrete is one of the best sound-stopping materials. Combine this with our THX design to achieve a very high STC (sount transfer class) wall. To isolate a building from outside noise depends on concrete and CAST-TILT. Our insulated concrete panels can be used in both wall and deck applications.

Fire Safe

Compare the CAST-tilt SW with other systems of similar design. CAST-tilt SW technology is designed for maximum fire protection. Our metal studs are mechanically locked into the concrete structure and are far less susceptible to failure in the event of fire.
